Smashing Four Seasonal Reward (Bronze)

Smashing Four – Bronze Seasonal Reward!

A few members of the Smashing Four community recently asked me about Seasonal Reward Orb contents.  So, in this video, we will take a look at the contents of a Bronze tier Seasonal Reward Orb that I received a few days ago.

The featured orb contains a good amount of cards from each of the rarity levels.  So, without further ado, let’s check out the video!

I was pretty pleased with this particular orb and actually and all-in-all, I’ve been pretty happy with all the seasonal rewards I’ve received to-date.  However, I have seen a few players in the community complaining about the Seasonal Rewards (mostly or Reddit). It’s generally the same 5 or 7 players that constantly cry and complain and at some point you just have to wonder if it’s even worth it to keep playing.  If you are always being letdown or being angered by a video game, wouldn’t you think they’d just eventually quit?

Not these guys…

They seem to think that the rewards are too small, or the seasons are too far apart, or both.  I, however, do not agree. In comparison with some of the other ‘card-based’ games I’ve played recently (namely Flick Arena), the Seasonal Rewards in Smashing Four are actually quite generous.

Of course, it would be awesome if the seasons were spaced closer together, but I honestly don’t feel that would be good for progression or work well with the new challenge mode that has been introduced in version 1.4.

When you pair the Seasonal Rewards with the newly introduced Challenge Rewards and also add any regularly obtained orbs/ cards into the mix, I feel that progression should be pretty on-point.

Of course, there’s always going to be players who will cry and complain no matter what a particular game company does.  I’ll admit, I’ve even been guilty of feeding into these people and arguing with them in the past. But now, I just do my best to ignore them and remain positive. I find Smashing Four is much more enjoyable when I approach the game (and the community) from this angle.

But what do I know…?

Anyway, thanks for watching!  Like, share and subscribe for more awesome Smashing Four content!  And keep an eye out for our Smashing Four Live streams coming soon!

Smashing Four Epic Orb (Post-update)

Smashing Four – Epic orb (Arena 6)

This video marks the first upload in our Smashing Four orb series, since Geewa lowered the reward system with their balance update on September 20th.

The latest balance update seems to have many players angry at Geewa and some are even quitting over the recent decrease in rewards. I, however, am surprisingly not in this category.

Yes, it sucks that the rewards are being decreased. Yes, it could’ve been handled a bit better as far as warning the community and from a PR standpoint. But honestly, I hardly even notice a difference. Maybe this is due to the changes being just a few days old, or maybe its because I kind of expected this to happen. But either way, as of right now, I have not been noticeably effected.

Also, yes, they did “technically” lower the rewards, but they only lowered them back to where they were to begin with. I personally spent months playing the game at this current reward level. Yes it was nice when they boosted them, but now that they lowered them, it kind of feels like nothing really changed.

Maybe I’m crazy? Who knows…

But I do know that Geewa has been very good about listening and communicating with the community thus far. So, hopefully they will hear our concerns and address them accordingly.

I personally have not lost faith in Geewa and this game continues to be a lot of fun for me, regardless of how others may feel.

Either way, this video displays the contents of an Arena 6 Epic orb, under the updated reward system.

Enjoy! And try to remain positive!

Smashing Four Royal Orb (Arena 7)

Smashing Four – Soul Gem #3

Smashing Four – Soul Gem #3 (Arena 7)

This is my 3rd short video displaying the contents of an Arena 7 Soul Gem in Smashing Four.  I have been asked by numerous players to continue making videos that display the contents of orbs, Soul Gems and chests and I will continue to do so.

This particular Soul Gem was the best one I’ve uploaded yet. It contained 18 Yeti and 28 Frost Fox, which are two cards I use on a regular basis. We all know how valuable Yeti and Frost Fox are in Arena 7, so that was a great drop!

This Soul Gem also contained 11 Paladin cards, which is another staple in my setups. Although it did contain many useful cards, it also contained over 20 Knight cards, which I will gladly take along with the Frost Fox and Yeti!

More videos are coming soon!  Be sure to like, share and subscribe to stay up to date on all of Smash Therapy’s latest content!

Soul Gem contents:

Gold: 393

Gems: 2

Knight: 21

Yeti: 18

Frost Fox: 28

Wizard: 3

Paladin: 11

Smashing Four – Arena 7 Royal Orb

This is another short Smashing Four orb contents video.  This time we will be taking a look at the contents of an Arena 7 Royal Orb.

I plan to continue uploading more short videos of this nature, as long as you all keep requesting them.

Smashing Four – Arena 7 Soul Gems

During my time playing Smashing Four, I’ve had numerous players (mostly newbies) inquire about the contents of the various orbs, chests and Soul Gems in the higher arenas.

So, in the following videos, we will take a quick look at the contents of two Arena 7 Soul Gems.

Smashing Four – Arena 7 Soul Gem #1

Smashing Four – Arena 7 Soul Gem #2

Keep in mind, that these are just two examples of the many Soul Gems I’ve opened since arriving at Arena 7.  Some Soul Gems are better than this and others are not as good. It also depends very much on each individual player, as we all use different setups and therefore have different opinions on what we feel is good or not.

I plan to release more videos like this in the near future. So stay on the lookout for more Smashing Four content coming soon!

How to Fail at Life (Smashing Four)

How to Fail at Life (Starring: Chuckdude)[Smashing Four]

Don’t you just hate it when your Smashing Four opponent taunts you by using the laughing emoji too much during a  match? Isn’t it even worse when they appear to be doing so for absolutely no reason at all?

My guess is that these players either suffer from Tourette’s Syndrom or they accidentally took one too many ‘happy pills’ earlier that day.

But there is one thing that makes this childish, immature behavior okay; something even better than defeating the annoying opponent. And that one thing is: forcing your opponent to surrender after they’ve been laughing and taunting you for an entire match.

It’s almost as if you can feel the foot enter their mouth just as they press ‘OK’ on the surrender pop-up and hear their little feet scamper off as they run away whimpering like a dog that has his tail between his legs.

Well that was certainly the case in my Smashing Four match against ‘Chuckdude’ (from Smash Bros). He just wouldn’t stop hitting the laugh button. After each and every single turn, there he was laughing away and sending taunting speech emojis. The most annoying part is, this loser Chuckdude, actually did so regardless of whether he even scored any damage, or not (as you will see in this video).

Worst of all, this wasn’t the first time he’s done this during a match. Every single time I’ve faced him, he acts like a silly little girl giggling away with her girlfriends. So, it was incredibly satisfying to not only defeat him (yet again) but to also make him surrender like the loser he truly is.

Oh, the irony…

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy watching this video as much as I did producing it!

Special thanks to the loser that was featured in this video! Without you, none of this would not be possible.

And remember: it’s never a good idea to act cocky and immature during a match. After all, you just never know who might be recording it!

Epic Frost Fox Win! (Smashing Four)

There are a few heroes in Smashing Four that, if used properly, can wreak havoc on your opponent. Frost Fox is one of these heroes and he is truly a force to be reckoned with.

At least a few times a day, I will be placed  in a match where my opponent has a way stronger team than mine.  I used to just surrender these matches right off the bat.  But since adding Frost Fox to my team, I now find myself playing these matches through and in many cases, I even come out on top.

I also no longer surrender Smashing Four matches just because I’m down by a few heroes.  As long as my Frost Fox is still alive, then so is my hope.

In this video, I make an epic comeback after my opponent scores a double kill and leaves me down 3 heroes to 2. His only mistake was that the hero he left alive, was my level 10 Frost Fox. I’ve been practicing my Frost tactics for the last few weeks and have seemed to master playing with him.

Just when it looked as if I was done for, I began utilizing Frost Fox’s healing ability. At level 10 he heals +49 HP every time he hits an enchanted enemy. Now, that may not seem like much, considering some of my opponents heroes can easily do 100+ damage. But in this match, it turned out to be just enough for me to pull through and make an epic comeback!
